Alex & Shannon, Founders

Based in Central Massachusetts, we’re lifelong animal lovers who grew up surrounded by pets and now share our home with two rescue dogs.

Our pet business journey began when we struggled to find a pet sitter for our dogs who truly understood the needs of anxious and reactive dogs. We saw firsthand how limited options were for pets who required extra patience and specialized care. That’s why we created A&S Pet Care: to provide the compassionate, personalized care that all pets deserve.

We have been so fortunate to meet some incredible pet caregivers along the way and proudly employ a team of 5 Pet Care Professionals as part of our care team..learn more about them below!

    LUNA

Luna became part of our family in 2018 and forever changed our lives. She opened our hearts and minds to the challenges that anxious and reactive dogs face, teaching us invaluable lessons in patience, understanding, and advocacy.

Through her journey, we’ve learned the importance of compassionate care and standing up for dogs like her who need extra support.

    NOVA

In 2020, we welcomed Nova into our pack—a resilient tripod dog who has been our greatest teacher in understanding and caring for specially-abled pets.

Through caring for Nova, we have learned the incredible adaptability of animals, the importance of advocating for their unique needs, and the joy that comes from giving a specially-abled pet a loving home.
