Julia has had pets all her life and has often provided pet sitting for friends and neighbors. She is currently the proud mom of two cats, Patch and Garth; two hognose snakes, Oatmeal and Ptchú; and a freshwater fish tank that houses 12 fish, 4 snails, two African dwarf frogs, and one little shrimp. Julia earned her degree in Social Work from the University of Maine and currently works as a daycare teacher. In her free time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, exploring the outdoors (sometimes with her cats), and tending to her many houseplants.
